CLOSE-UP PROJECT - RESEARCH
In my research will be based on four photographers called Peter Keetman, Howard bond, Ryan McVay and Keith Taylor I chose these photographers because they got good work and what I want to do is do my own picture of these people work and Photoshop the photos to make look Amazing hopefully, I will be looking independently close ups of motherboards, flowers/plants, cities at night and pets. I will be taking pictures of the school garden and around the school taking picture of flowers/plants then photo shopping it to make look more eye-catching and if can I will be taking pictures of motherboards and I will be taking the pictures in different angles to make look like it’s a city then in Photoshop I will be making it look like the motherboard is a city at night. The matter and/or technique in this project will be macro lens, still images, Photoshop, flowers and motherboard.
Peter Keetman
Peter Keetman was born April 27th, 1916, in elberfirld, Germany. He attended the national academy of photographic design from 1935 to 1937. Peter joined Germany’s army in 1940 and returned 4 years later seriously injured from the war. With some help and journeymen, he graduated in 1948 with his master’s degree. In 1949 PeterKeetman was a founding member of the fotoform group (a German photographer group) and was then known as a freelance commercial photographer in the 1950's. Unfortunately, Peter Keetman died on March the 8th, 2005, in Marquarstein, Germany
As I really like the style of photographs with rain drops & water. Peter Keetman used 'Rule of Thirds' he put the most important object in the picture, Which in this case, Is the pole , In the -so called imaginary division lines.
I really like Peter Keetmans work becuase of many different reason, one of them is that fact it's black n white and for the cars/vans, I like old fashion looking stuff because its just different from the usual. the bubbles look good but i don't really like the idea of it because it looks like some bubbles in a glass of a drink.

keith taylor
These photographs are by Keith Taylor and I like the blur in the background to make the main focus on the flower only, I also like that the flower in most of his work are bright separated from others so it's not just a big bush of flowers but I don't like the flower being off centre and my work will be in the centre, with a bright flowers and with a blur in the background.
Comparing my work to Keith Taylor
This photograph is mine, as you can see I did try do everything I said but I couldn't get the blur in the background perfect, there is some blur but it's not good enough but on the other hand, I did try get the main focus (the flower) in the centre unlike the photographer (Keith Taylor) and I did get a flower with a bright colour, it was quite hard to find but I did it. Also I like the angle in my photo because the pistil is clearly visible in mine photo, in Keith Taylor you can just about see it if you look closely. I think my could be better if I did make it perfect angle, perfect blur at the time and if i did some Photoshop magic to the photograph.

Martin amm
Martin Amm is a german photographer, born in 1986 in kronach, he started photography at age 12 and i think his work is outstanding because the background has like a mist and males the main object of the picture standout more, also the viewpoint make the flower look legendary. he used/uses a Nikon D200 camera with a mirror locked up.the lens he uses is sigma 150/2.8 and uses manfrotto 055PROB tripod. Theses are some examples of his work.
The ideas i will use in his work is the viewpoint so i'l make the main object of the picture look bigger then it actually is, i'll also take the idea of having some of the ground n plant because it could make my photos better and i'll have to test it. i'll going to make my pictures into one of Martin Amm's photos then after I've done that I'm going to compare mine and his work together. The image right is mine after looking at Martin Amm's work.
