CLOSE UP - SET 1
The set below are first attempts using a Nikon DSLR and zoom lens in the school gardens and some flowers in the classroom with natural light only. I have learnt a few thing from this work - I need a tripod to make the camera steady; I need to focus the camera really carefully to stop shake pictures and I need to make sure the right part of the image is sharp before taking the picture.
These photographs all a quick take in the school garden but the flower with a raindrop is my favourite photo I've took this year because I love how the background is blurred and the raindrop is amazing to witness when you capture the photo, also I love how the pink stands out from everything else. the one I don't really like is the bottom right one because the photograph is blurred, the angle is bad and the background stands out more then the plant for me.
